It’s that time of year that the always enjoyable St. Jerome's Laneway Festival rolls its way through New Zealand and Australia, and even making it over to Singapore this time ’round. A cool crowd, delicious food, quenching refreshments, rad art installations and cracking acts are always a guarantee, and 2013 has followed in casually dressed suit.

Highlights came from the interstellar, cosmic trippers Pond, who belted out a wild set at the aptly titled Eat Your Own Ears Stage – don’t forget to plug up, punters. Other standouts artists included the smooth, subdued sounds of Alt-J, ferocious two-piece shredding from rock ’n rollers Japandroids, and the floating tunes of Melbourne pop-stoners, Twerps.

Laneway is hitting Adelaide this Friday, February 8, and Perth the following day on Saturday, February 9. Get your tickets here, and don’t miss out.
