Globe Skateboarding has released some exciting news for the brand: Austyn Gillette is irrefutably one of the most stylish skateboarders on the planet, and he will have a signature Globe Skateboarding shoe dropping at the close of this year.

“I’ve always chosen to ride for companies that are built by skateboarders,” Austyn said on his move to Globe, which was founded in 1994 by the Melbourne based Hill brothers. “This stands true with the history of Globe and I’m excited to help reinvent what the brand can be in skateboarding.”

Austyn Gillette joins Globe Skateboarding team riders Mark Appleyard, Sammy Montano, Aaron Kim and Rodney Mullen.

We’ve had a sneak peek at Austyn’s signature shoe and it’s a damn fine looking pair of kicks, just like the handsome man himself.
