14 KEGS CLEARED – BURLEIGH KEG JUMP 2022 | PHOTOS

07.07.2022

In its third year running, Burleigh Brewing’s Keg Jump reached new heights and long-leaping records.

Some of Australia’s finest skateboarders hit up an all-new set-up across a bump-to-bar, and bump-to-Hubba, on the brewery floor for cash and beer prizes. And with a much higher roll-in, this year’s main event was a wild one to witness, as the big poppers went for broke over the barrels of craft beer.

Sam Atkins, pictured above, stepped off his board after clearing 14 kegs, but local lad, Dani Campbell (11 kegs 2021 joint winner with Nixen Osborne), cleared 14 to seal the deal for his victory and take the cold hard cash.

Chima looked likely for a win clearing 13 kegs with ease, and grace, but a slam to his wrist put him out of contention.
