Shane Azar joins Australian skateboarding royalty in the Slam Hall of Fame.
We are proud to announce that Shane Azar is the twelfth inductee to the Slam Hall of Fame. Hailing from the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Shane Azar stepped up to some gnarly spots and built a solid skateboarding career through the early ’00s, skating for XEN, Volcom and Vans, amongst others. He’s put down some heavy parts over the past two decades, including in Volcom’s seminal classic, Let's Live [20.23 mins]. These days, Azar has risen through the ranks to be the TM and Marketing Director at Volcom, continuing to make a positive impact on the Australian skateboarding scene. And he’s still ripping!
The Slam Hall of Fame celebrates the legendary skateboarders who had the potential to win Australia’s SOTY in their prime with coverage in Slam and abroad, or have made a huge impact on Australian skateboarding.
