A look at Val’s colourway which bleeds through to blue with age. This vulcanised skate silhouette is constructed with scratch-off lux black leather.

“I leant towards the Surplus silhouette as I felt it had the most potential for something good-looking and casual. I went for leather as it’s important to me that the shoe lasts longer whilst looking even better when worn in; hence, the bleeding black to blue feature as it wears in. The little angel featured throughout the shoe was drawn by one of my best friends and artists, Delapaix, who’s been tattooing me a lot through the years. This particular angel, I have tattooed on my back, and it pays homage to my late grandmother. My ultimate goal was to design a shoe I would be stoked to skate in every day. Hope you like it!” – Val
